I love new technologies too. What I don’t like is gumming up the works with unnecessary frameworks that add all kinds of bloat to what should be an otherwise clean codebase. Now days, if your codebase isn’t being augmented with a dozen build libs, or cannot run unless you install Node on the server or locally, then they call you “old fashioned”, out of step, even lazy for not wanting to learn the “new way” of bloating your codebase into infinity.
