The "big project" and code complexity argument is completely spurious. Keep preaching this nonsense to yourself if you like, but millions of us who have been doing this for the past two decades, if not longer, have been building highly complex enterprise-class sites without the bloat and we're savvy enough to know how to manage events, files, assets, et. al., without the compiled bloat or by drinking the Big Tech Kool-aid.
